It’s time to start planting for the coming season in propagators.
Members of the Solanaceae family (Tomato, Pepper, Aubergine) seem to like an early start to make the best of our climate and to beat the blight. It’s also an opportunity to test the viability of older seed before it’s needed.
This isn’t the first planting of the season. Garlic, Shallots, overwintering Onions and Broad Beans are in the ground and (mostly) growing.
